Why is the Lion King of the Jungle

It could have been any other animal bigger than the Lion itself, maybe the tiger, which is faster and more powerful, or it could have been the elephant, but that is not the case for Lion’s title ‘King of the Jungle’.

For a consensus to be reached to crow the Lion, there must have been something special about this animal, not to do with the beautiful mane around the neck of the male lion.

One of the qualities of a good leader is their ability to think things through, and that specific reason is what crowned ‘Simba’ King of the Jungle.

This beautiful yet fierce animal is witty and uses that in almost everything he does. He calculates his next move before starting the first move. He plans ahead of its prey.

His attitude makes other animals fear him. He is fearless and will make a move on an elephant; despite knowing that the elephant is bigger and stronger than it, he will think about how to win the fight and then attack.

Lions quietly sneak up to their prey as they cannot run longer and uses a few seconds to catch their meal. So this entire process is precalculated in its head.

They hunt in a group by creating a formation, whereas when one is tired, the next start chasing or hides at a different spot from the crew and waits for the prey. When pursuing a more robust animal, they all join forces to overpower the animal.

Like a King, a lion rarely hunts. It will sit and wait for the lioness to bring back food as he will be protecting the lioness and the cubs. And the Lion can give a command for hunting.

They also stand for one another if they get attacked by intruders, like what a real King will do for his people.

Even though lions are called King of the jungle. Lions do not live in the jungle in real life they are mostly found in the savannah.
