The Northern Carmine Bee-eater is a stunning bird found in many parts of Africa, including Tanzania. Known for its vibrant feathers, which are a mix of red, blue, and green.

This majestic Bird is often seen in flocks and has a unique hunting behavior where it catches its prey (insect) in the air and then returns to the nest to eat them.

The Northern Carmine Bee-eater tends to nest in burrow pits along the riverbanks and feed on insects, especially Bees and, Wasps.

You can spot this bird in Tanzania National Parks such as Nyerere National Park.
